The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed through 2 bond auctions held today
Total sales in the two bond auctions held by the Treasury amounted to 13 billion 609.6 million TL. Including the 14.5 billion TL in non-competitive (ROT) sales made before the auctions, the total sales reached 28 billion 109.6 million TL.

The Treasury conducted a 5-year (1,792-day) fixed-coupon bond issuance and a 7-year (2,366-day) floating-rate bond issuance.
In the fixed-coupon bond auction, which received a total of 30 billion 887.6 million TL in bids, the net sale was 10 billion 186.5 million TL, and the nominal amount of sales was 9 billion 370.6 million TL.
In the auction, the compound interest rate was 29.75 percent at the lowest, 30.60 percent on average, and 30.88 percent at the highest. The average simple interest rate came in at 28.56 percent.
The minimum price in the auction was 108,042 TL, and the average price was 108,707 TL.
The securities sold in the bond auction will be issued on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The maturity date of the re-issued bond, which pays coupons every 6 months, is November 8, 2028.
FLOATING-RATE BOND
In the floating-rate bond auction, the net sale was 3 billion 423.1 million TL, while the nominal amount of sales was 3.8 billion TL.
Traders submitted 26 billion 142.5 million TL in nominal bids in the bond auction.
In the auction, the periodic compound interest rate was 20.04 percent at the lowest, 20.62 percent on average, and 20.82 percent at the highest.
The minimum price of the bond was 89,286 TL, and the average price was 90,092 TL.
The securities sold in the bond auction will be issued on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The maturity date of the re-issued bond, which pays coupons every 6 months, is June 5, 2030.
