Ministry provides 83.4 million lira in support to 23 treatment plants
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has provided 83 million 463 thousand lira in support to 23 wastewater treatment plants in Tekirdağ.

According to a statement made by the Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, 50 percent of the electricity energy expenses used in their facilities were covered by the Ministry for those managing wastewater infrastructure facilities that discharge into receiving environments or perform recovery, provided they have established and operate the treatment plant and fulfill their obligations specified in the relevant legislation.
Support totaling 83 million 463 thousand lira was provided and payments were made to 23 facilities, including 5 belonging to the Organized Industrial Zone Directorate in the city, 13 belonging to the Tekirdağ Water and Sewerage Administration (TESKİ) General Directorate, and 5 individual facilities.
