Moody's sets two credit rating review dates for Turkey for next year
International credit rating agency Moody's has set two credit rating review dates for Turkey for the coming year.

Moody's has published its "Sovereign Credit Rating Review Calendar" for 2024.
Accordingly, the first date for Turkey has been announced as January 12, and the second as July 19.
It is noteworthy that Turkey is the first country to be evaluated in the Moody's calendar for the coming year.
The fact that international credit rating agencies provide dates in their annual calendars for countries' credit ratings and outlooks does not necessarily mean that an update will be made on those specific dates. Credit rating agencies may also conduct evaluations outside of the specified dates.
Moody's had set December 15 as the review date for Turkey's credit rating in its 2023 calendar, but did not make an update for Turkey on that date.
TURKEY'S CREDIT RATING OUTLOOK COULD BE REVISED TO POSITIVE
However, in a "Credit Opinion" report on the Turkish economy published on December 19, the agency stated that if the tight monetary stance is maintained, Turkey's credit rating outlook could be revised to positive.
Moody's currently rates Turkey's credit rating as "B3" with a "stable" outlook.
