Natural gas prices are rising! Electricity prices are also increasing
The reference price for 1000 cubic meters of gas in the spot natural gas market has risen to 10 thousand 513 lira 32 kuruş. In the spot market, the price of one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow has been set at a maximum of 2 thousand 621 lira and a minimum of 500 lira.

Yesterday, the reference price for 1000 cubic meters of gas in the spot natural gas market was set at 10 thousand 513 lira 32 kuruş. According to Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data, the transaction volume in the market was 4 million 785 thousand 477 lira. This figure showed a decrease compared to the previous day, when it was 6 million 480 thousand 301 lira.
On the same day, the trade volume for 1000 cubic meters of natural gas in the spot natural gas market was 455 thousand cubic meters. The balancing gas purchase price for market participants was set at 11 thousand 38 lira 99 kuruş, and the sales price was set at 9 thousand 987 lira 65 kuruş.
While 143 million 938 thousand 827 cubic meters of natural gas were supplied to Turkey yesterday, the amount of natural gas offered to the market was recorded as 144 million 399 thousand 130 cubic meters.
In the spot market, the price of one megawatt-hour of electricity was recorded today at a maximum of 2 thousand 14 lira 99 kuruş and a minimum of 10 lira 1 kuruş.
According to Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data, the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 130.5 percent today to 1 billion 47 million 38 thousand 444 lira.
In the day-ahead market, the price of one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was set at a maximum of 2 thousand 621 lira at 21:00, and a minimum of 500 lira at 00:00 and 02:00. Additionally, the arithmetic average price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was 1503 lira 72 kuruş, and the weighted average price was 1613 lira 95 kuruş.
