Netflix revenue increases in the third quarter of the year
Global internet television network Netflix has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2025.

Accordingly, the company's revenue increased by 17.2 percent in the third quarter of this year compared to the same period last year, reaching 11.5 billion dollars. The firm's revenue was reported as 9.8 billion dollars in the third quarter of 2024.
Netflix stated that the revenue growth was a result of more members, price adjustments, and increasing advertising revenue.
The company projected that its revenue would rise by 17 percent in the next quarter as well. Netflix's revenue forecast for the full year 2025 was also 45.1 billion dollars, in line with previous expectations.
FAILED TO MEET EXPECTATIONS
Netflix's net profit also rose by approximately 7.7 percent in the third quarter of the year compared to the same period last year, reaching 2.5 billion dollars. The company's net profit had been calculated as 2.4 billion dollars in the same period of 2024.
The firm's earnings per share, which were 5.40 dollars in the third quarter of last year, rose to 5.87 dollars in this period.
Although Netflix's profit increased, it remained below market expectations, and the company cited an expense of approximately 619 million dollars recorded due to an ongoing tax dispute in Brazil as the reason for this situation.
