Goldman Sachs has projected that the European Central Bank will begin cutting interest rates in June rather than April, as previously expected.

Goldman Sachs has lowered its expectation for 25-basis-point cuts from six to five.

According to data from Eurostat, the EU's statistical office, inflation in the 20-country Eurozone fell from 2.8 percent in January to 2.6 percent in February, coming in below the 2.5 percent expectation.
