In Turkey, when determining fuel prices, the SCT (Special Consumption Tax) and EMRA (Energy Market Regulatory Authority) share are added to the duty-free refinery price, and then the refinery sales price excluding VAT is formed. The calculation of the duty-free refinery price follows the daily CIF Mediterranean product prices in the Mediterranean-Italian market and the dollar exchange rate.
