New index list for Borsa İstanbul announced: 27 companies added, 27 removed

Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. has announced the changes to equity indices that will be effective in the fourth quarter of 2026. In the new list covering the period from October 1 to December 31, 2026, 27 company changes were made to the BIST 100 index.

According to the announcement, changes were also made to the BIST 30 index. While Destek Finans Faktoring was removed from the index, TR Anadolu Metal Madencilik was included in its place.

The decision was announced as part of the periodic revisions closely monitored in Borsa İstanbul in terms of trading volume, market capitalization, and index criteria. Index changes are closely followed by the market, especially in terms of passive funds and index-tracking portfolios.

COMPANIES ADDED TO AND REMOVED FROM THE BIST 100

• - Companies included in the BIST 100: Anadolu Grubu Holding, Ahlatcı Doğal Gaz, Akçansa, Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji, Albaraka Türk, Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik, Aygaz, 1000 Yatırımlar Holding, Eczacıbaşı Yatırım, Ege Endüstri, Ege Gübre, IC Enterra Yenilenebilir Enerji, Global Yatırım Holding, Galata Wind Enerji, İskenderun Demir Çelik, Karsan Otomotiv, Katmerciler Ekipman, Kocaer Çelik, Kordsa Teknik Tekstil, Limak Doğu Anadolu Çimento, Rönesans Gayrimenkul Yatırım, Reysaş Lojistik, Sinpaş GYO, TAB Gıda, Kıraç Galvaniz, Torunlar GYO and Türk Traktör.

The BIST 100 index at Borsa İstanbul closed the previous trading day of the week with a 0.40 percent increase at 13,337.69 points. Although the index fell to the 12,895.81 level during the day, it rose back above the 13,000-point mark with afternoon buying. The banking index, on the other hand, diverged positively from the main index with a 1.9 percent rise.

In the analysis by Kuveyt Türk Yatırım, it was stated that the processes in some investment funds would be monitored in terms of short-term market direction. The analysis indicated that the consideration of investor interests, market depth, and liquidity conditions in sales within fund portfolios suggests that the sales could be spread over time.

In the same assessment, the 13,000 and 12,800 levels were monitored as support, and the 13,500 and 13,800 levels as resistance for the BIST.
