New price hike for diesel on the horizon

Recent fluctuations in exchange rates and volatility in global markets continue to push fuel prices upward. According to information received from industry representatives, a price hike of 3 lira and 4 kuruş is expected for diesel starting from midnight tonight.
Experts state that the rise in exchange rates and the increase in Brent crude oil prices are putting pressure on fuel prices. With this new hike, diesel prices are expected to remain above the 50 lira threshold.
CURRENT PRICES IN THE THREE MAJOR CITIES
As of October 24, 2025, the current fuel prices in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir are as follows:
On the European side of Istanbul, the price per liter of gasoline is set at 52.31 TL, diesel at 52.40 TL, and LPG at 27.71 TL. On the Anatolian side, gasoline is sold at 52.15 TL, diesel at 52.27 TL, and LPG at 27.08 TL.
In Ankara, the price per liter of gasoline was recorded at 53.14 TL, diesel at 53.42 TL, and LPG at 27.60 TL. In Izmir, gasoline is finding buyers at 53.49 TL, diesel at 53.73 TL, and LPG at 27.53 TL.
These developments once again demonstrate how significantly fuel prices are affected by changes in exchange rates and global markets.
