The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) has made changes to the financial statements and related footnotes that banks disclose to the public.

The "Communiqué on Amending the Communiqué on Financial Statements to be Disclosed to the Public by Banks and Related Explanations and Footnotes," published in the Official Gazette, has entered into force.

ITEM NAME CHANGED

According to the new regulation, the item "Funds of Borrowers" in the liabilities section of banks' consolidated balance sheets has been renamed "Funds of Loan Customers."

NEW TABLE DETAIL FOR PARTICIPATION BANKS

In order to reflect the changes made to the uniform chart of accounts for participation banks in the financial statements, new rows have been added to the information tables showing the maturity structure of participation funds. In this context, "Participation Accounts Investment Agency Pools (TRY, FX, and Precious Metal FX)" items have been included in the table.
