November's price hike champions in Istanbul have been announced! Which product saw the highest price increase?
In Istanbul, the product with the highest price increase in November compared to the previous month was coats at 36.44 percent, while leeks led the decline with 15.18 percent.

The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), in order to ensure market transparency and inform the public, has announced the products in Istanbul that saw the highest increases and decreases in retail prices in November, along with their prices and rates of change.
Accordingly, out of the 242 products included in the Istanbul Wage Earners' Cost of Living Index, the retail prices of 135 products increased, 21 products decreased, and 86 products remained unchanged.
MEN'S COATS WERE THE PRICE HIKE CHAMPION
In November, coats, which are in the men's clothing sub-group of the clothing expenditure group, became the product with the highest price increase at 36.44 percent.
Some of the other products that experienced price increases include fresh grapes at 31.43 percent from the fresh and dried vegetables and fruits sub-group of food expenditures, chocolate at 20.48 percent, overcoats at 20.08 percent from the men's clothing sub-group, match entry fees at 17.98 percent from the culture and education expenditure group, and cloaks at 17.95 percent from the women's clothing sub-group.
PRODUCTS WITH THE LARGEST PRICE DECREASES
In November, leeks, which are in the fresh and dried vegetables and fruits sub-group of food expenditures, became the product with the largest price decrease, falling by 15.18 percent.
Leeks were followed by parsley at 13.67 percent, curly lettuce at 12.56 percent, lemons at 11.96 percent, spinach at 11.09 percent, and cabbage at 8.61 percent, all from the food expenditure group.
