The number of equity investors registered with the Central Securities Depository (MKK) has started to rise again with initial public offerings (IPOs).
According to the investor and account numbers announced by the MKK, the number of equity investors increased by 864 thousand 6 people in the week ending May 10 compared to the previous week. Thus, the number of equity investors rose from 7 million 706 thousand 841 to 8 million 570 thousand 847.
In the same week, the value of equity stocks increased from 14.26 trillion TL to 14.28 trillion TL.
