The market value of the US chip manufacturer Nvidia has surpassed that of the US retail giant Amazon.

Although Nvidia's shares fell slightly to 721.28 dollars today, the increase in the company's shares in February, where only 9 trading days have been completed so far, has exceeded 17 percent.

It was also noted that the company's shares, which started the year just under 500 dollars, have gained nearly 46 percent in value since the beginning of 2024.

Nvidia's market value reached 1.78 trillion dollars today, with the company surpassing the US retail giant Amazon in terms of market capitalization.

Amazon's shares fell by 2.15 percent today to 168.64 dollars, while the company's market value remained at the 1.75 trillion dollar level.

Thus, Nvidia became the fourth most valuable company in the US, while Amazon fell to fifth place.

The three most valuable companies in the country were ranked as Microsoft with 3 trillion dollars, Apple with approximately 2.9 trillion dollars, and Alphabet with 1.8 trillion dollars.

Nvidia had also briefly surpassed Amazon in terms of market value yesterday.

The company's market value reached 1 trillion dollars last May, driven by the increasing demand for artificial intelligence chips.
