Following Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek's announcement regarding manipulation in funds, an operation was conducted against Q Yatırım Bankası as part of an investigation launched into allegations of loan sharking on Borsa İstanbul.
During the operation, three individuals, including the bank's former General Manager Mehmet Aydoğdu, were detained.
AYDOĞDU RELEASED
According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, Mehmet Aydoğdu was released after his statement was taken following the operation. However, the other two suspects, Ali Ercan and Yasef Mitrani, were referred to court with a request for their arrest.
