Özhaseki announces: Treasury gained 60 billion

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki provided information regarding title deed and sales transactions in 2023. Özhaseki announced that over 60 billion liras were contributed to the treasury from title deed and sales transactions last year.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki provided information regarding title deed and sales transactions in 2023. Özhaseki stated that 18 million 285 thousand 900 title deed transactions were carried out by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre in 2023.

Stating that 2 million 949 thousand 437 sales transactions were carried out last year, Özhaseki provided the following information: "A contribution of 60 billion 59 million 215 thousand 486 liras was made to the treasury, consisting of 57 billion 96 million 374 thousand 897 liras from these sales transactions, and 2 billion 962 million 840 thousand 589 liras from other title deed transactions such as floor easement, condominium ownership, and name corrections."

Stating that they have contributed to the treasury, Özhaseki concluded his words as follows:

"With this contribution provided to the treasury, we are taking important steps on the path to the solid, safe, and strong cities of the Century of Turkey. We are working devotedly on the construction and revitalization of our cities, especially in the earthquake zone. We will continue to support the real estate sector, which is one of the locomotives of our economy, in every field."
