Pensioner promotion payments to begin tomorrow
Bank promotion payments for pensioners, announced by President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan, will begin tomorrow (March 28, 2024). Public banks will pay promotion amounts ranging from 8 thousand to 12 thousand liras.

The Social Security Institution (SGK) announced on its website that promotion payments for citizens receiving pension salaries have been increased by approximately 2 times at public banks, set between 8 and 12 thousand liras.
The announced promotion payments will begin to be deposited tomorrow (March 28, 2024).
Those receiving more than one pension salary will be able to apply for promotions separately. Applications can be made through banks or via e-Devlet.
3-YEAR COMMITMENT REQUIREMENT
Banks will provide promotions to pensioners on the condition of a 3-year commitment.
It will be possible to change banks if a more advantageous offer is available. In the event of a change, no withdrawal fee will be charged, and the promotion amount paid for the remaining period at the bank with which the agreement was made will be refunded.
16 million people receiving retirement, widow, and orphan pensions will benefit from the practice.
Promotions can also be received from private banks in addition to public banks.
