Pro-government journalist Cem Küçük gives figures for the lowest civil servant and retiree salaries

Cem Küçük, a columnist for the Türkiye newspaper known for his proximity to the government, has made predictions regarding retiree and civil servant salaries following the minimum wage announcement.

Following the minimum wage, all eyes have turned to civil servant and retiree salaries. Journalist Cem Küçük, known for his proximity to the government and who had previously made predictions regarding the minimum wage hike, has now spoken about the upcoming raises for civil servant salaries.

HOW MUCH WILL THE LOWEST CIVIL SERVANT SALARY BE?

According to Küçük's prediction, the lowest civil servant salary will be 31 thousand TL. Küçük stated, “The lowest teacher salary will be 39 thousand TL. Police salaries will be 43 thousand TL. I hope it is even more; it is their right. The lowest civil servant salary will be 31 thousand TL. Especially in the media sector, a raise at least this high should be implemented, and no one should be victimized.”

HOW MUCH WILL THE LOWEST PENSION BE?

Sharing the information he received regarding pension payments, Cem Küçük said:

“I think the lowest pension will be between 11 thousand 500 and 12 thousand TL. Retirees could receive a raise of over 50 percent. The injustice regarding premium days will be resolved.”
