Proposal for additional pension increase accepted
During the deliberations on the legislative proposal amending the unemployment law at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Planning and Budget Committee, a motion to provide an additional increase to SSK and BAĞ-KUR pensions was accepted.

The TBMM Planning and Budget Committee accepted a motion to provide an additional increase to SSK and BAĞ-KUR pensions during the deliberations on a legislative proposal amending the unemployment law.
In line with the accepted motion, the pension increase rate of 37.57 percent, which was applicable in January, will be raised to 42.57 percent. With this increase, the lowest pension will also rise from 7,500 TL to 10,000 TL.
The regulation will be addressed in the TBMM General Assembly next week to complete the legislative process. The additional pension payment differences will be paid to retirees after the law is published in the Official Gazette.
