Putin makes statement on gas hub in Turkey

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that an electronic platform is planned to be created for the natural gas hub planned to be established in Turkey, saying, "Our Turkish friends, we, and everyone in Europe who wants to purchase Russian resources are interested in this project."

Putin made the remarks at the main session of the Russian Energy Week held in Moscow, the capital of Russia. Speaking about the natural gas hub planned to be established in Turkey, Putin said that Azerbaijan is also interested in the project.

Noting that they expect other countries to join the project as work progresses, Putin said, "We are primarily talking about creating an electronic platform for natural gas trade aimed at the European continent. Our Turkish friends, we, and everyone in Europe who wants to purchase Russian resources are interested in this project."
