Qatari LNG tanker makes transit passage through the Strait of Hormuz

The Qatar-based LNG tanker named Al Daayen was first recorded in international maritime tracking data off the coast of Qatar on June 4-5. Subsequently, the tanker was observed moving east of the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, having set its course for China.
According to data analysis firms, the ship named Al Daayen completed its loading operations at Qatar's Ras Laffan port on June 1 and began its voyage. With this passage, the total number of Qatar-controlled LNG tankers that have passed through the Strait of Hormuz since the onset of the conflict has risen to nine.
On the other hand, as reported by the analysis firm Vortexa, another empty LNG vessel re-entered the Strait of Hormuz after delivering its cargo to India. Such movements demonstrate that energy security and transport routes in the region remain active and under observation.
