Raw milk prices are rising, here is the new price per liter
Price hikes expected one after another following the local elections are being announced one by one. The National Milk Council (USK) has announced that there will be a price increase for raw milk.

The National Milk Council (USK) has decided to set the recommended raw milk price at 14.65 Turkish Lira net per liter to be received by the producer, effective from May 1st.
This change will lead to price increases in cheese and dairy products, including those in supermarkets.
According to the announcement on the Council's website, the recommended raw milk price has been determined to be effective from May 1st.
A 22 KURUS DIFFERENCE WILL BE APPLIED
Accordingly, the recommended selling price for raw cow's milk with 3.6 percent fat and 3.2 percent protein content has been set at 14.65 Turkish Lira net per liter to be received by the producer, excluding the raw milk subsidy.
If cooling, transportation, and other current expenses are covered by the producer, these costs will be paid to the producer in addition. A difference of 22 kurus will be applied for every 0.1 change in the base fat and protein ratios.
According to the announcement, the recommended raw milk price may be re-evaluated within the framework of costs and updated according to market conditions in the future.
