According to the December results of the report prepared in cooperation with sahibinden.com and the Bahçeşehir University Center for Economic and Social Research (BETAM), real housing sales prices across Turkey have been falling for 5 months.
The annual increase rate in current prices decreased by 6.5 points to 70.7 percent. As in the last 4 months, real housing sales prices showed a decline in the three major metropolitan cities in November as well.
Due to the declines in real prices, the annual increase rate in this area fell to 5.4 percent in November, a decrease of 4.4 points compared to October across the country.
HOUSING DEMAND HAS DECREASED
Although there was a slight increase in July in housing demand, which had shown a decline after the earthquakes in February, a significant decline has continued to be experienced since August.
The housing demand index, which decreased by 9.1 percent in November compared to October, was observed at the 88.7 level.
This value drew attention as the lowest level of the housing demand index in the last two years. Housing demand fell by 19.9 percent compared to the same month last year.
