The Center for Alternative Investments (KUES) has been established within the Koç University College of Administrative Sciences and Economics and the Graduate School of Business, with the joint contributions of Koç University and Esas Holding.
Koç Holding Vice Chairman Ali Koç spoke at the meeting held for the center's opening.
As reported by Cumhuriyet, Koç stated that the center they have established will also serve as a guide for foreign capital.
Emphasizing that there has been significant change over the last 25-30 years and that it is necessary to keep up with this change, Koç said, “Why do we not see foreign capital in our country? Because in our country, the rules of the game have been constantly changing recently. People cannot see what lies ahead. They do not see it as a safe harbor. Yet, there are trillions in funds in the world. They are looking for a safe harbor to go to.”
