Reported to KAP: Land of giant shopping mall in Istanbul is being sold

İş GYO has announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it will sell the land in Esenyurt where the Marmara Park Shopping Mall is located.

The KAP statement indicated that, within the framework of the right of first refusal, an offer will first be presented to İstanbul 1 Gayrimenkul Yönetimi A.Ş., one of the companies of the German firm Ece, for a sale price of 2,711,908,000 TL + VAT.

Two parcels adjacent to the same land will also be offered to the same company first for a price of 15,365,000 TL + VAT. 

İstanbul 1 Gayrimenkul Yönetimi A.Ş. has one month to evaluate the offer.

The full text of the statement made by İş GYO to KAP is as follows:

"Within the framework of our Board of Directors' decision dated 23/09/2024, as a result of sales negotiations conducted for the sale of the property owned by our Company located in Istanbul Province, Esenyurt District, Block 21, Parcel 110 (on which the Marmarapark Shopping Mall is located) and the adjacent parcels numbered 102 and 103, a purchase offer has been received by our Company for all of the parcels. Within the framework of the aforementioned purchase offer, before the sale of the parcels to the offeror;

It has been decided to present an offer for the sale of the relevant parcel to İstanbul 1 Gayrimenkul Yönetimi A.Ş. primarily, within the framework of the right of first refusal held by İstanbul 1 Gayrimenkul Yönetimi A.Ş. regarding parcel 110, for a sale price of 2,711,908,000 TL + VAT; and within the scope of the sales offer for the aforementioned parcel 110, to present an offer for the sale of the parcels numbered 102 and 103, which are located adjacent to the relevant parcel, to the aforementioned company for a total price of 15,365,000 TL + VAT; and in the event that the offer is accepted, to sell the parcels numbered 102 and 103 together with parcel 110 to İstanbul 1 Gayrimenkul Yönetim A.Ş."
