Russia extends gasoline export ban
It has been announced that the gasoline export ban in Russia will be extended due to the inability to curb rising fuel prices.

The Russian Ministry of Energy announced that Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and other officials met in Moscow to evaluate gasoline prices. It was stated that the duration of the ban on gasoline exports, which was imposed due to increased demand during the summer months and heavy usage in the agricultural sector, will be extended.
Furthermore, it was stated that investigations have been launched regarding the artificial inflation of prices in certain regions. The government had temporarily halted exports on July 28 after gasoline prices reached record levels, but price increases have continued.
In the country, attacks on oil refineries by unmanned aerial vehicles and increased demand in the agricultural sector are causing gasoline prices to rise. Russia is one of the world's largest energy exporters, producing more than 40 million tons of gasoline annually.
