U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson spoke to The Washington Times regarding the aid to Ukraine, which has recently become a subject of debate.

House Speaker Johnson stated that he is interested in having the $300 billion in assets seized following Russia's invasion of Ukraine provided as aid to Ukraine in the coming period.

Emphasizing that the idea of using seized Russian assets as part of aid to Ukraine has been met with great enthusiasm among Republicans, Johnson said, "I think it will be for our colleagues on the other side (Democrats) as well. This is an extremely responsible action for us to take."

The U.S. Department of Defense announced on November 3 that it would provide new aid to Ukraine worth 425 million dollars.
