SCT hike on gasoline and diesel: 'It will be reflected at the pump...'

Producer Price Index (PPI) data has been released, resulting in a hike of over 25 percent in the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) amounts applied to fuel and alcohol products, in line with the 6-month PPI rate.
In a statement from PİÜS, it was stated, "As of today, there has been an SCT increase, including VAT, of 2.31 TL for the gasoline group and 2.17 TL for the diesel group. For autogas, there has been an SCT increase of 1 TL... The increases will be reflected at the pump."
