Ship traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended in both directions yesterday evening after the 190-meter-long Bahamas-flagged bulk carrier named SOPHIA Z, which was sailing from Bulgaria to Spain, broke down off the coast of Beykoz.

In an announcement made on the website of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, it was reported that ship traffic in the Bosphorus was reopened in the south-north direction as of 02:00.
