Şimşek and Erkan met with investors: Notable statement on Turkey from JP Morgan
JP Morgan reported that international investors showed intense interest in the first Investor Day organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) in New York.

JP Morgan Global Head of Macro Research Luis Oganes stated in a statement made on his behalf, "J.P. Morgan was honored to host the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's first Investor Day in New York this week, which saw strong interest from fixed income and equity investors."
The statement noted that Turkish officials shared their policy agendas and plans for combating inflation and ensuring macroeconomic stability in the coming period during this meeting.
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek and TCMB Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan were thanked for the privilege of hosting the opening of the Investor Day, as well as for their highly informative Q&A session and presentations.
The statement, which noted that JP Morgan experts were also present at the meeting, included the following remarks:
