A hike in the Special Communication Tax and the Radio Usage Fee has been announced. As part of the new regulation effective in 2024, there has been an increase in the amounts of the Radio Usage Fee and the Special Communication Tax collected from mobile line users.
Citizens who actively use mobile lines will pay 15 TL as the Radio Usage Fee in 2024. In the previous year, this fee was 9.43 TL.
Additionally, the Special Communication Tax amount, which was 260 TL in 2023, has been raised to 400 TL in 2024. This tax is known as a tax that can be paid in 12 monthly installments for new line purchases.
These tax adjustments were announced via the relevant communiqué published in the Official Gazette. It is expected that these hikes will be reflected in phone bills, causing an automatic increase.
