SSK and Bağ-Kur pension increase rate raised

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced on TRT Haber that they have raised the pension increase for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees to 49.25 percent.

The pension increase rate for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees, which was previously announced as 42.6 percent, has been raised to 49.25 percent, bringing it to the same level as all other retirees.

Minister of Labor Işıkhan said, "Thus, we are ensuring that all our retirees receive the same rate of increase this year."

Minister Işıkhan stated, "(Pension payments) The differences will be deposited into accounts within 1 week after being published in the Official Gazette."

In his statement, Minister Işıkhan said:

"With the instructions of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we had declared 2024 as the Year of Retirees. In this context, we will implement economic, social, and cultural projects and good news for our retirees one by one throughout this year. I would also like to share some good news; we are raising the 6-month increase rate for the pensions of our SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees to 49.25% as of January 2024. Thus, we are ensuring that all our retirees receive the same rate of increase this year. May it be beneficial to our valued retirees," he said.
