With the announcement of inflation data for March 2026 by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), an important data set for the first three months of the year has been established. During this three-month period, which is critical for the July raise that SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will receive, the cumulative inflation difference reached the 10.04 percent level. This rate will form the basis of the salary increases.
As a result of legal regulations made in January, the lowest pension had been increased to 20 thousand liras. Although salaries were raised to the 18 thousand 939 TL level with the previously determined 12.19 percent increase, this figure was completed to 20 thousand TL with an additional legal regulation; thus, a total improvement of 18.4 percent was reflected in salaries in the first quarter.
