‘Stars of Design’ meet in London

The event, themed London Design Stars, brought together interior designers, architects, designers, and prominent figures from the construction industry living in the UK.

Attendees at the event included (from left) Mustafa Köker, Secretary General of the European Turkish Brands Association and owner of Eurovizyon; Fatih Erden, co-founder of HEKA Aydınlatma; Ömer Erden, founder and Chairman of the Board of HEKA Aydınlatma; Vehbi Keles, Chairman of the Board of the European Turkish Brands Association and owner of Gima LTD; Taner Bildik, owner of TB Media LTD and Londra Gündem Newspaper; and Devlet Selim Parslı, Commercial Counselor at the Turkish Embassy in London.

Ömer Erden, founder and Chairman of the Board of the host company, stated, “We set out on a journey to illuminate the world. We have the potential to meet demand with our 10,000 square meters of indoor space and production facilities. We are a company that already exports to the USA and Canada. We have moved our headquarters to London as our European location.”

15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Having started operations in the United Kingdom with an investment of over 2.5 million pounds, the company aims to introduce the sector to the world with its 15 years of experience.

Fatih Erden, the other co-founder of the company, which hosted leading industry representatives from the UK at its showroom in London, emphasized that HEKA Aydınlatma is one of the locomotives of the sector, saying, “We are one of Turkey's largest manufacturers. By prioritizing service quality, we produce solutions from design to production in the fields of architectural design and lighting. We set the trends in the sector with construction, hotel, restaurant, and custom lighting designs by structuring the relationship between the space and the user with the right light.”

Stating that they aim to bring together manufacturers, designers, and practitioners by connecting designers and interior architects with the construction sector at the event in London, Ömer Erden said, “We are a company that carries out large-scale work with lighting projects. We illuminate living spaces. We felt it was our duty to bring together important stakeholders of the sector at this event in London. HEKA's doors are open to all representatives of the sector. We aimed for our London headquarters to be a meeting point,” indicating that they aspire to illuminate the path of the sector as well.

The event was attended by the Commercial Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in London, the European Turkish Brands Association, the ÇATI Business Networking non-governmental organization, business people, and architects, engineers, interior designers, and designers living in London.
