Statement from Minister Özhaseki regarding earthquake housing

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki emphasized in a post on his social media account that the Ministry is continuing its work without interruption for the revival and reconstruction of the earthquake zone.
Reporting that the construction of 200,000 of the 850,000 independent units to be built in the region is proceeding rapidly as a result of these efforts, Özhaseki noted the following:
"We have worked day and night so that every one of our citizens in the earthquake zone can return to their homes as soon as possible. Together, in unity and solidarity, we will build our safe, sturdy, zero-waste compliant, and climate-friendly homes and workplaces."
Touching upon the "Transformation in Place" project, which was implemented to rapidly rebuild the earthquake zone, Özhaseki announced that 226,325 applications have been made within this scope.
