"It has been observed that news reports are being published suggesting that VAT rates have been increased based on the Communiqué regulation we recently issued regarding VAT, and that rate increases will be implemented by shifting items between the lists that determine VAT rates for goods and services. It is deemed necessary to make the following statements to ensure our citizens are correctly informed."
