Statement on 'natural gas support' from the Ministry of Family and Social Services

The Ministry issued a written statement regarding the new natural gas regulation announced by AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan following the Cabinet Meeting.

The statement, which noted that an annual allocation of 900 to 2,500 Turkish Lira per household was previously provided for natural gas support, included the following:

"With our new natural gas regulation, we have increased the annual amount we will allocate to our citizens to between 1,500 and 3,500 Turkish Lira.

In this context, we have made our payments regular, to be paid over 8 months during the winter period.

Thus, we are increasing the natural gas support we offer to our citizens from 112-312 Turkish Lira per month to 188-438 Turkish Lira per month."
