Stock market declines in the first half of the day
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul lost 0.46 percent in the first half of the day, falling to 7,735.97 points.

Moving in a downward trend during the first half of the day, the BIST 100 index fell by 35.37 points to 7,735.97 points as of 13:00, compared to the previous close. The total trading volume was 37.2 billion lira.
The banking index lost 1.64 percent and the holding index lost 0.96 percent.
Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was information technology with 4.04 percent, while the biggest decliner was insurance with 3.09 percent.
According to the balance of payments data released today (November 13) by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), the current account recorded a surplus of 1 billion 876 million dollars in September 2023.
Analysts stated that global equity markets continue to search for direction due to uncertainties regarding the monetary policies of central banks, noting that eyes are turned to inflation data to be announced worldwide this week.
Stating that the data agenda abroad is quiet today, analysts noted that the news flow regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict continues to remain in the focus of investors.
Analysts stated that from a technical perspective, 7,650 points stand out as support for the BIST 100 index, while 7,750 and 7,950 levels stand out as resistance.
