As of 13:00, the index rose by 225.09 points and 2.18 percent compared to the previous close, reaching 10,545.05 points. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 10,319.96 points yesterday, started the day at 10,369.87 points, up 49.90 points and 0.48 percent.
In the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 10,356.99 points and a record high of 10,557.98 points.
During the first half of the day, the financial index gained 2.40 percent, the technology index 1.70 percent, the services index 1.65 percent, and the industrial index 1.06 percent.
Compared to the previous close, 77 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 20 lost value in the first half of the day. The most actively traded stocks were Türk Hava Yolları, Tüpraş, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Akbank, and Yapı ve Kredi Bankası.
