Stock market opens the day with a flat trend (April 4, 2024)
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul started the day just above its previous close at 8,949.12 points.

At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose by 3.32 points, or 0.04 percent, compared to the previous close, reaching 8,964.97 points.
The banking index recorded an increase of 0.42 percent, and the holding index rose by 0.43 percent. Among sector indices, the information technology sector was the top gainer with 1.04 percent, while the securities investment trust sector was the biggest loser with 1.83 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul followed a volatile course and closed the day at 8,945.80 points, down 1.05 percent.
