Stock market opens with gains (02.04.2024)
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul opened the day with a 0.31 percent increase at 9,186.00 points following the Local Administration General Elections.

At the opening, the BIST 100 index gained 28.46 points and 0.31 percent compared to the previous close, rising to 9,186.00 points.
The banking index recorded a 0.20 percent increase, while the holding index rose by 0.06 percent. Among sector indices, the forestry, paper, and printing sector was the top gainer with 1.11 percent, while the only decliner was the securities investment trust sector with 1.51 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul followed a volatile course and completed the day with a 3.10 percent gain at 9,079.97 points.
