Stock market opens with gains (28.03.2024)
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul opened the day with a 0.65 percent increase, reaching 8,863.66 points.

At the opening on March 28, 2024, the BIST 100 index gained 56.94 points and 0.65 percent compared to the previous close, rising to 8,863.66 points.
The banking index recorded a 0.59 percent increase, while the holding index rose by 0.18 percent. Among sector indices, the chemical, petroleum, and plastic sector was the top gainer with 1.88 percent, while the sports sector was the biggest loser with 1.82 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul followed a volatile course and closed the day with a 0.01 percent loss at 8,806.72 points.
