Stock market opens with gains (29.05.2024)
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul opened the day with a 0.15 percent increase at 10,693.02 points.

At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose by 15.53 points and 0.15 percent compared to the previous close, reaching 10,693.02 points.
The banking index recorded a 0.17 percent increase, and the holding index rose by 0.02 percent. Among sector indices, construction was the top gainer with 2.96 percent, while securities investment trusts were the biggest losers with 1.12 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul followed a buying trend and completed the day with a 0.19 percent increase at 10,677.49 points.
Analysts stated that global equity markets are following a mixed trend as concerns regarding inflation in the US fuel uncertainty over the timing of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve (Fed), adding that all eyes are now on the Fed's Beige Book report today.
