In the first half of the day, the technology index gained 1.20 percent, the industrial index 0.89 percent, and the services index 0.54 percent, while the financial index lost 0.33 percent in value.
Compared to the previous close, 74 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 25 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, Akbank, Ereğli Demir Çelik, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), and Türk Hava Yolları.
