Stock market rose in the first half of the day

The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul rose by 0.34 percent to 9,024.77 points in the first half of the day.

As of 13:00, the index had increased by 30.77 points compared to the previous close. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 8,994.00 points yesterday, started the day at 9,014.87 points with an increase of 20.87 points and 0.23 percent.

During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 8,950.56 points and a high of 9,036.81 points.

In the first half of the day, the services index gained 0.40 percent, the financial index 0.32 percent, the technology index 0.53 percent, and the industrial index 0.59 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 42 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose in the first half of the day, while 55 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Gübre Fabrikaları, Turkish Airlines, Tüpraş, Ereğli Demir Çelik, and Türkiye İş Bankası (C).

Additionally, in the Istanbul free market, the dollar is trading at 30.7410 liras and the euro at 32.9230 liras.
