According to the report on TRT Haber; stating that the 7th term collective bargaining agreement was concluded in recent months, AYBÜ Lecturer Tarkan Zengin said, "It is regulated as a clause in the collective bargaining agreement that civil servants and civil servant retirees will receive a 15 percent increase in January and will also receive an inflation difference from the previous period. When we look at the Medium-Term Program and the Central Bank's inflation targets, they will receive an increase of approximately 50 percent."

Zengin stated, "In the event that an increase of approximately 50 percent occurs for civil servants and civil servant retirees, the current lowest civil servant salary is 22 thousand 17 lira; if this rate reaches 50 percent, it is expected to rise to approximately 33 thousand lira."
