Sugar beet purchase price announced

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced on its official social media account that the 2025-2026 production year beet purchase price for the Turkish Sugar Factories Corporation (TÜRKŞEKER) has been updated.

The Ministry stated that the purchase price for sugar beet, the raw material for sugar production, for the 2025-2026 production year has been increased from 2,975 liras to 3,100 liras per ton, including the quota completion premium.

The statement said, "The TÜRKŞEKER 2025-2026 production year sugar beet purchase price has been updated.

In this context, the sugar beet purchase price, including the quota completion premium, will be 3,100 liras per ton.

We wish the new price to be beneficial to our producers and our sector."
