Technology support for university students published in the Official Gazette
The Presidential Decree regarding the provision of technological device and internet support to university students has been published in the Official Gazette.

According to the decree published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a one-time support of 5,500 TL will be provided to each student for the purchase of mobile phones and computer devices with a final sale price not exceeding 9,500 TL. Mobile phone devices acquired within this scope must be used exclusively by the beneficiary for at least 2 full years from the date of benefiting from the support. In the event that the devices are sold within 2 years or it is determined that they are being used by another user, the support payment will be reclaimed from the beneficiary along with interest calculated at the specified late payment interest rate from the date the support payment was made.
Additionally, students will be provided with up to 10 gigabytes of free monthly internet support for 12 months, limited to one line.
The decree will enter into force on November 1.
