The rain of price hikes continues: Another cigarette and rakı group hit with price increases

News of price hikes continues to arrive in the new year. Following cigarettes, price increases have now been applied to rakı prices as well.

Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association, announced that a price hike has been applied to the Beylerbeyi rakı group.

According to the price list shared by Dündar, with the 35 percent increase, the most expensive product in the group, the 300cl rakı, reached 6,000 TL, while the cheapest, the 35cl rakı, became 345 liras.


With the hikes, the lowest price for a 70cl rakı was set at 650 liras. However, the prices of different varieties of 70cl rakı in the updated list reached up to 1,000 TL. With the new hikes reported by Dündar, 70cl rakı bottles will be offered for sale at 899 and 990 liras.

EFE GROUP ALSO IMPLEMENTS PRICE HIKES

Following the price hike for the Beylerbeyi group, the Efe group also increased its rakı prices by 35 percent. Dündar shared the new price list on his social media account.
