The top-performing investment vehicle of the week has been revealed (Dollar, euro, gold, stock market)
While stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul lost an average of 1.57 percent on a weekly basis, the gram price of gold increased by 2.23 percent, the euro/TL rate by 2.53 percent, and the dollar/TL rate by 0.89 percent.

The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 9,651.21 and a high of 10,109.96 points, completed the week at 9,668.10 points, losing 1.57 percent in value compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 2.23 percent this week to 2,748 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 3.21 percent to 18,305 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 4,451 liras last weekend, rose to 4,590 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.89 percent in value to reach 34.0000 liras, and the euro rose by 2.53 percent to 38.0000 liras.
Investment funds gained 0.73 percent and pension funds gained 0.41 percent this week.
When viewed by category, the top-performing investment funds were "Precious Metals" funds with a gain of 3.54 percent.
