The week's winners and losers on the stock market have been announced

The stocks that provided the highest returns and those that lost the most value for investors on the BIST 100 index last week have been identified. While Katılımevim led the way with an increase of over 26 percent, Balsu Gıda lost nearly 19 percent of its value.

On Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index fluctuated between 13,562.45 and 14,249.99 points, closing the week at 14,172.26 points, an increase of 2.85 percent compared to the previous week. The changes observed in stocks during weekly trading drew the attention of investors. While some stocks experienced double-digit gains, others stood out with significant declines.

The best performance was seen in the shares of Katılımevim Tasarruf Finansman A.Ş. (KTLEV). The stock in question topped the BIST 100 with a 26.20 percent increase in one week. Following Katılımevim, Odine Solutions Teknoloji Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (ODINE) gained 18.44 percent in value, taking second place and offering strong returns to its investors.

In third place, Borusan Birleşik Boru Fabrikaları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (BRSAN) appeared on the list with a weekly gain of 15.91 percent. Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.Ş. (OTKAR) was also among the standout companies with a 14.19 percent rise, while Tekfen Holding A.Ş. (TKFEN) secured a spot in the top five with a 12.92 percent increase.

The picture was reversed for the stocks that lost the most value. Balsu Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (BALSU) finished the week at the bottom of the list with a loss of 18.91 percent. While Migros Ticaret A.Ş. (MGROS) lost 15.20 percent of its value, CW Enerji Mühendislik Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (CWENE) from the energy sector took third place on the list with a 12.32 percent decline.

Another stock that drew attention was Anadolu Efes Biracılık ve Malt Sanayii A.Ş. (AEFES); the company's shares fell by 10.43 percent on a weekly basis. Finally, Türk Altın İşletmeleri A.Ş. (TRALT) lost 9.45 percent in value, becoming the fifth stock with the largest decline of the week.

The activity on the BIST 100 index this week signaled a turbulent period where sharp declines were experienced alongside strong gains.
